Dick Van Dyke used to have an Amiga

Just randomly browsing some forums (instead of working) and read this snippet from an interview with Dick Van Dyke.

Not of great interest but hey it's not as if there is bucket loads of Amiga related news nowdays!

from: http://www.moviesonline.ca/movienews_10796.html
Quote:
Q: Mr. Van Dyke can you talk about your interest in computer animation?

Dick: It started out as a hobby about 15 years ago when Amiga first came out with a little machine that would actually do animation and Iíve been doing it ever since. Now I have a room full of equipment and Iím struggling to keep up with technology, but itís an addiction. It is so much fun. Iíve gotten pretty good. Iíve been actually offered a job as an animator and I realize the minute thereís a deadline, the funís over. So I can play as long as I want to with it and I have some good stuff in there, but Iíve never sold any or even showed any of it.

I remember being at an Amiga convention (I forget which one) where he sent a video address talking about how he loved the Amy.

No, that's Gene Simmons of KISS. At least, he said so in his song Calling Dr. Love.

Amiga.org forums just posted that he's selling it on eBay

Dick Van Dyke's Amiga on eBay.....

A little more background on Me. Dyke's Amiga use.

Oli_hd Posted on: 2008/1/15 5:41Dick Van Dyke sells his Amiga 4000T on ebay

A little interesting thing has just come up on ebay.
Dick Van Dyke's A4000T
He will even autograph it if you want.
Cant say you see that on ebay very often.
Its currently $50 with a Xsurf, toaster/flyer and is powered by a 68040.

Just a little heads up, Im not the guy selling it.
