My Favourite was the `SlikStick' it was a mini smaller version of the Tac-2. The Tac-2 was also a good stick, but I liked the smaller size of the SlikStick.

Erm here's my favourite;

that is all
I used to own this one.

It was really nice joystick.

At the moment I have Competition Pro and Sega MD Gamepad for amiga.

For PS2 and PC I have arcade stick witch works great with USB converter.

On PC I also use couple of Logitech game pads and XBox game pad that I just created recently.

well my two favorite sticks are the atari 2600 ones and the one button arcade stick, but my favorite of all is the logitech wireless playstation 2 controller. Gaming from anywhere in the room, it was a dream come true. The thing has all the features of a dualshock controller, but a slightly lighter weight and lasts ages on the batteries. I replace them once a year.

I bought this Analog / Analogue joystick last month.
I had one back in the day. It helped me win the championship in F1GP!!

Great Thread... Well, I liked the original Atari 2600 controllers, but they were VERY unreliable, for me anyway.... So, my 2600's and C-64's and C128's , all have Epyx 500XJ 's (Anyone remember the 5-year / 5,000,000 shot warranty ?? Pretty sure Epyx itself folded before the 5 years was up

My 'main' Amiga has a Honey Bee Comp. Pro CD32 pad, made in China, but I do like 'em... For certain games, I still think a joystick offers more control... I remember some of the funky jumps in Turrican to get 1Ups, etc. were a lot easier with a joystick versus a joypad.

I have had a TAC-2, a SlikStick, a Python, but all either broke, or were lost after a move

I remember using joysticks from the Quickshot series, and I must have had the famous Epyx model, but the memories are blurred.

Brands were not that important in the early 90s, what I mean by that is the manufacturers did not carry a strong corporate image. Admittedly, joysticks were not made to be kept over the years.

Good joysticks usually had micro-switches but there were exceptions.

Wow, You've just reminded me I still have one of those Epyx joysticks here packed away some where. Barely used it.

Mine was the Powerplay Cruiser - Green with yellow buttons and a pink stick...

It was virtually indestructible having all microswitches and it also had an adjustable torque/stiffness which was perfect for many different games - for example on the loose setting it was perfct for joystick waggling games and on medium it was perfect for SWOS...

Wish I could use it on my PeeCee with WinUAE

For Amiga sticks the Zip Stik was my favourite, followed by the CD32 Competition Pro pad.

Joysticks overall it has to be the X-Arcade range, and my Slik-Stik Classic board.

Agree

Found in the attic, I forget to have it,

I used it to play some C64 and Amiga games this morning.
