First Samurai copy protection codes

I had trouble getting the cracked version of this game to work perfectly so I'm using the SPS version.. however, when I reached level 2, it asks me to find a number from the manual (and it has four digits so it would take ages to guess).

Does anyone have a manual scan or a list of the codes or something like that?
It would be *highly* appreciated!

why don't u use the whdload version? or are you on a floppy only system?

Hmmm.. is there any kind of password system in this game or will I have to finish the entire game in one sitting? I like to be able to use savestates when I don't feel like playing anymore and that way be able to continue later.
That's why I haven't used the WHDload version.
