Workbench Error Message at start up...

There is an error message popping up at my Workbench 3.1 startup - the trouble is it is so fast I cant see what it is saying before the boot process completes..

I have Magic Worbench installed and it gives a black background so I cant just drag the screen down to see behind the workbench screen...

Is there a way of pausing the boot process to see the messages being displayed?

Any ideas?
Are there any utilities that could investigate this for me?

I stuck Snoop Dos in the WB Startup folder but it reported no errors?
But there is defnitely an error message there - I can just about make out the text that says there is something missing...

You could insert the line

ask continue

between "LoadWB" and "EndCLI" in s:startup-sequence. Then the DOS window stays open until you press the return key.

Another possibility is to boot without startup-sequence (hold down both mouse buttons after a reset and click on "boot without startup-sequence". Then you get an empty DOS window where you can enter the following commands:

set echo on
execute s:startup-sequence

Now you get a kind of trace (each command is listed in the shell window before it is executed) which you can pause by pressing any key. But this is probably too much for just one error message.
