Speaking of Scandinavian metal..
Why is it that Norvegians, Swedes and the Finns can produce absolutely fantastic metal but the Danes can't.. I am a dane myself and have thought about a lot.
Btw.. Black Winter Day is some of the best Amorphis have ever done.

Because we can produce lovely beer

We do have some good metalbands. I like King Diamond (and Mercyful Fate), KONKHRA, Illdisposed...

and one of the best "RED WARSZAWA"

Maybe it's worth checking the "Fuck You We're From Denmark" compilations. I think there are four of them.

no the F**k you... compilation is 80-90% shit

talking about right-winged.
The lead singer in Illdisposed Bo Summer is known to be part of the facist movement "Dansk Front" (and the hooligan fraction White Pride) but the band is not a nazi band...

I would recommend Konkhra. They have made some really nice album

The Queens of Thrash are even scarier

I haven't got many German Metal albums either. Most of them are Scandinavian ones. It's amazing how many good Death/Black Metal bands there are. They must have the highest Death/Black band to citizen ratio in the world.

Anybody heard of Black Ingvars ??
It's a swedish hardrock band with some very interesting cover versions of childrens songs.
One of the best is 'Här Kommer Pippi Långstrump'. (Pippi Longstocking)
highly recommended
