My kids loves Giana Sisters, and i've been playing that with them lately.
Without using Warps, how do you make the second jump on level 24? I had 13 lives, and 13 tries but never managed it yesterday. Been to Ironclaws site and watched the Gianna sister there, but he "cheat" and warps to level 25. My jumps gets way to short... Anyone? |

Blizzard PPC club rocks!
|
If it's the same place as i remember, you shouldn't make a "full" jump but just a little one not to hit giana's head to the ceiling. It's a difficult one but with a steady and well aimed jump you should make it.

In HOL it says: Press A, R, M, I, N to skip levels. I was going to skip till level 24 and practice.
Anyone got this to work? Not working here, using Whdload-version |

You must not jump too high. Go to the left then run to the right, jump by moving your joystick up for a very short time (don't hold it in the up position). Then you'll make it. Jump #3 is similar, you must not touch the ceiling.
First screenshot: Before jump #2 Second screenshot: After jump #3 (start your jump from top of the star blocks, it won't work from the bottom blocks)

I was stuck here for an undefined amount of time also... got to give it credit though, because of this I played so many times, getting to this point without losing any lives... and further went on to finish without losing a life...
after this point I dedicated my extra lives to repeating the best level diamond mines trying to achieve a higher high score... sadly though I never did make it to 100,000... the highest I ever managed I believe was 92,600 and something... my version was a copy of the original... I've misplaced it though... it still has my saved scores ![]() |

Yes, i am struggling still. I can only go for the "record" when my kids are not there, so i'm not getting to play so much. But i find it hard not to loose life until level 24, and then i just start over. And i always always make stupid mistakes. Nice score! |

If you want a laugh, check out the title screen of the Amstrad CPC version. It looks like Fred's better looking sisters

ARMIN-Cheat on the Amiga?!? That looks nonsense to me, no idea who put this in HOL back then. ARMIN does work on the C64 version, though. Back in 2002/03, a boatload of cheats got entered into HOL in a kind of "mass-update" fashion, together with cheat information actually belonging to other systems. Since Codetapper has been supervising everything that gets in Cheatcodes, you can be fairly sure the cheats have been retested on the Amiga version and do work fine. But looking at our internal log, it shows the Giana cheat information was entered long time before he assigned this task to himself. Last edited by andreas; 27 November 2006 at 19:56. |
