Recurring downloads...

I've decided that I will add a little section to my whdload site, a section which is essentially a small file resource for files which are constantly being asked for that aren't in the usual places (read - planetemu)

I can think of:

Galaxy's Icons for ADF/DMS/IPF (with his permission of course)
Tanx N Stuff

If anyone cares to list any others that might be a good idea to include then please let me know.

Good idea

Off the top of my head:

... All the Stag / Bodacious Bodean's Bordello Beauties disks.
... Action Replay III manual.
... Copying programs that are hard to find.
... Flashtro releases.
... Stable Masters I + II + III.
... Tanx N Stuff (full).
... TFX.

Stag 7 is not yet in Tosec. We have 1-6 and "Stag Extra". I suggest to keep all your disk and scan them with the latest Tosec dat if you have found a way to make adf-images from your disk.

Hmmm, the ones that I have here (and that keep getting re-uploaded to The Zone!) are as follows:

... Stag 1.adf
... Stag 2.adf
... Stag 3.adf
... Stag 4.adf
... Stag 5.adf
... Stag 6.adf
... Stag Extra.adf

I believe they have already been sent to TOSECs for inclusion... [idoru], bippym or Adderly can you comment?

I do believe STAG belong in ToSEX

just out of curiosity. I haven't used WinUAE in some years, but I remember that, the story running in the scroll in some of the stag disc, was gone when transfered to adf. Is this still the case. These story was very...interesting..
I once extracted 2 of the stories into a txt file.

You have more Stag disks? Please, share them
Hopefully you'll find a way to dump them. Seems like an A1200 or a Catweasel are valid options. Maybe you can find someone near you who can dump the disks for you. I really hope you can manage to dump them. Just for 'preservation' and stuff

Well, my Stag discs are self titled from texts within the "movies" thusly...

Stag 1 Buk Stag
Stag 2 The Son Of Stag Strikes Back
Stag 3 The Bride Of The Son Of Stag Strikes Back
Stag 4 The Bride Of The Son Of Stag Strikes Back Again
Stag 5 The Bride Of The Son Of Stag Strikes Back Again Part II
Stag 6 The Bride Of The Son Of Stag Strikes Back Again Part II +
Stag 7 Stag Extra

I had to watch these several times in my youth to deduce the names

I do have a working A1200, CDRom, Harddrive, 2nd Floppy drive. I really need to gen up on disk dumping tools. Disc2ADF on Amiga ? Transfer on HD discs using CrossDOS ?

Well, these are all in TOSEC (might need some renaming though).
About the dumping : Think the best idea would be to start a new thread. There are several members around that can give you valueable hints on how to dump them all.
