Wanted Driver for zip 100 drive

Is there anyone who has, or knows of,anywhere i can download the drivers for the Iomega ZIP 100 (Parallel)drive as my origanal drivers disk has become corrupt and IOMEGA nolonger support older operating systems i have surfed and googled for the last four hours but keep hitting a dead end and would realy like to get my zip drive installed and working on my miggy if anyone can help could you PM me thx in advance chaz

In case you don't find another driver disk... If you are lucky, the disk structure could be corrupt, but some of the files that you need might still be intact. You might try dumping the disk block-by-block and then picking out files from the disk image.

If I remember rightly you can't use a parallel zip drive with an amiga.

Well you could use paralell-zipdrive on amiga with a specialmade adapter iirc.

aye i remember now, as the amiga is missing a specific programming line it has to pulse another so a line re-route is needed hence either a modified connector OR i am sure you can buy them at one point. hmmm maybe ebay lol

its looking good, not sure how the experimental drivers might go though..

poohbear thx for the link unfortunatly redirects me to Iomegas site and they nolonger support the older drivers and yes you can run a zip 100 parallel on an amiga 1200 with the origanal cable as i was doing so upuntill a few weeks ago when i did a fresh instal but found my origanal driver disk has become corupted i dont know about the newer zip drives though as i bought this one a fair few years back specificaly for my A1200 i will have ago at dumping block by block though as i may strike it lucky and thx for the input me old grey matter isnt to sharp these days lol

cant remember off hand but it was a lot faster than parneting just load up the zip unplug it, plug it into my other 1200 and off load it lol if i can get the driver for it and re-install it ill time it for you and let you know

it worked without that aminet hack? geez, i must try that, i saw somewhere at storage one old parallel drive.

I have a Zip100 Par in store... hell i dont even know if it fires up its been that long LOL... actualy i dont think i have any zipdisks.... LOL

I have to admit i prefered the simplicity of the LS120

id just like to get the zip up and running again lol still got 2gigs of files left to transfer to me other miggy and parnet is so slow its worse than snail mail lol
