It's not that we don't believe you, but we don't... Everyone on close inspection finds they have Putty, Super Putty, Putty CD32 or something else. Never the actual game... I would love to be proven wrong though...

How about someone posting an early screenshot from the (Super) putty (which I think looked a lot like what I have called Silly putty) and a screenshot from the putty squad demo? there should be enough difference that people who might think it's the one they have could tell which it is.

I am one of those who believe this shit was distributed back then... Maybe Twiddy knows if the copy sent to mags was distributed by any cracking group? I'd like to clear that doubt from my mind!

Question hmmmppff

I think I acted too quickly.. I`m thinking it was silly putty... but as I`m in the States now and my Amiga collection is in the UK, I cannot confirm this. I doubt that a lowly ME has the only copy with all the Amiga nuts on the board so I`m kinda guessing not

hmm...

Ok, since I haven't heard from Mr. Twiddy for more than two months now, I asked Steve Screech from Anco to help us. He asked all the people at his office to help him (about 8 people though..). I asked him to help me as a reward for the translation I'm doing for his new Kick Off 2002 PC-game. Again, we'll have to wait and see...
I hope that softwarehouses contacting each other will have more effect than some 'unimportant' individuals asking: I want Putty Squad!

I found this from amiga flame, Putty squad allready released??

It seems that putty squad is released to amiga by Alive Media soft?

Putty Squad is a delightful platform game, which was never properly released, that is until Alive Mediasoft took up the task. I was convinced by this game when the first demo came out many years ago, and still it only takes you to play the demo, to want to buy this awesome game. It was only released in the closely weeks of December, but has climbed the chart well.

second part:

. It also seemed for a while like Alive Mediasoft might have failed, but they proved us all wrong with it released just in the last week.

Coud we find someone who has bought this version???

I list games released by Alive media soft, I ques there ain't much byers of these but maybe we could think that these are abandonwares.??

Alive mediasoft allso has released these games Blade, Prophet, goal2000 Blade and Prophet can found Amiga arena (that germany site)

Interesting story here http://www.amigafever.de/online/spotlight/blade.html
Maker of Blade get 17.57 pounds from alive mediasoft

Goal 2000 Soccer Alive Mediasoft Steven Flowers of Alive Mediasoft will be happy to know that he isn't the only soccer fan to enjoy Goal 2000. Alive Mediasoft revamped this soccer game adding new in-gameplay tweaks, with sales bound to continue to be healthy as more soccer fans look for an alternative to the famous Sensible Soccer. Alive Mediasoft will be pleased with how gamers voted with their three games taking 8th, 7th and 6th spot.

Alive MediaSoft has just announced that Hexen Deathkings of the Dark Citadel, an add-on to Hexen is now available to buy. (just for amiga)

Not only that, Alive Mediasoft were crooks who took the money and ran like hell, never delivering the promised product.

Seems like utri007 missed Bobic's info regarding Alive Mediasoft on the first page.

Angry Alive Mediasoft SUCK ASS!!

I bought one game off them. I wish I hadn't though cos it turned out to be really shit. It was Blade. Then I found out later that they had actually nicked the game off the programmer and sold it without him recieving a penny. Not sure if it's true or not. I also heard that Alive Mediasoft are a big reason for the death of Amiga Format. Apparently they owed thousands to AF for advertising in the magazine. If you see Steven Flowers then kick him square in the nuts! No doubt he's set up another company under a new name. He's a part of the "earn a quick buck" way of thinking. I really despise people like that.

Ok, I got a reply yesterday:

Don't worry, I had not forgotten but we are currently trying to get our current project up and running on PS2, Xbox and Gamecube which is taking a fair amount of time. I will search out the old files and see what is needed.

Question

As the old saying goes,"patience is a virtue".
BTW-out of curiousity, just what game is John Twiddy doing for PS2 etc.? with his programming genius it should hopefully be good!
