Haha, Captain America and the Avengers was good too! Played NBA Jams to the end on the arcade. A lot of time was spent on SF Rush as well.

Well having a 500+ favourite list, is a little absurd. A favourite list is a list of game you really love to play, and realy love to play 500+ games is a bit time consuming

Very time consuming

Maybe "favourites" is the wrong word to use... Let's say known games / ones that I would play for nostalgic reasons

The list would be big as I spent quite a few years as a youth in places that had many arcade cabs on offer (and these would change every month)

No problem Anubis

You should try these games that also use a "swivel" joystick:

I'm with ya Freakyweakywo

Every single game so far that has been posted in this thread I know + have in my list. Sad hey?

See Dizzy, there are so many games that one could include... Just don't want to drown the thread by myself. LOL

In fact, you guys will think I'm crazy (and I am when it comes to arcade games)... I've actually spent quite some time going through all the MAME games (6300+) and then put together a Recomended.txt file consisting of games I know / look cool... They are even sorted in categories i.e. Beat 'Em up, Vs. Fighter, Puzzle, Shoot 'Em up etc...

Actually, I stopped around v0.100 when MAME changed the default .cfg files to the new system (totally f%^ked up some of my customised HotRodSE .cfg files). Haven't had the time to go through them all again since + with the new versions. I can post this categoried Recomended.txt file up to v0.99 if people want???

Be warned, it's a big .txt file

I don't know every posted game, but around 95%. And I played at least 50% of those games in the Arcades back then. I liked this rotating GalaxyForce-cabinet the most:

I read that this beast was ultra rare. Lucky me . Man, this was a great time.

BTW:
These "swivel" joysticks are correctly called "rotary Joysticks".

Good news!

Yes, most recent pictures here. It's actually a little more finished than that picture shows though.

And thanks for the list DamienD.

I even have the original arcade PCB for X-Multiply :-)
And of course i like it, it's easier than R-Type as mentioned earlier.

Well, you still get those sticks for arcade cabinets. You could hack a gamepad, so you can use this joystick on a pc.
