Yup, Golden Eye rocks

Somewhere on one of the 100 CDs / DVDs I have of various emulator / roms (not joking), there should be some N64 images... I'll trawl through and see if I can find Golden Eye, if so I'll rip the music to .mp3 for you

Going to take a bit of time so please bare with me

Ok, found the file which of course works in N64 emulators:

GoldenEye 007 (U) (!).v64

Now, just gotta work out how to extract the audio tracks. Not too sure if this is possible, anybody know

Been searching through Google to find a method, no luck unfortunately

... but I did find this site http://www.rpgamers.net/Games/Music2.php which has loads of video games sound tracks listed, GoldenEye 64 is one of them

If you click on the banner "Locke's Game Music Database", then "G", then "Goldeneye 64 OST" you will see a track listing http://www.vgmusic.info/Album.php?id=673&page=G

Unfortunately there are no download links, I think you need to go to "Locke's VGM Request Thread" http://forums.rpgamers.net/showthread.php?t=151 and request what you want and I guess Locke will help you when he gets the time...

I couldn't be bothered... Anyway, hope this you Solid Snake

Did you check out the USF page? http://www.hcs64.com/usf/ There is already a USF rip of Goldeneye that you can play with 64th note.

Yes, please. I would appreciate an upload (or pm) of the great music from Goldeneye! What's YOUR favourite tune?

The midi versions are tinny renditions I'm afraid. I'm after the exact soundtrack as heard during the game.

Grab the whole soundtrack but you need a Fileplanet account (free), 199 MB

http://www.classicgaming.com/vgtunes/index_files/ge.htm

Looks like the original Rare recordings in hq-mp3.

Seriously, just download the 512k USF file. You can convert to MP3 from there if needed.

Seconded. Just download the usf file and then use 64th note to play it in Winamp. Perfect recreation but at a tiny fraction of the mp3 files.
