Got 25 x DS-DD floppy disks from Amigakit - they were delivered very quickly and the disks are excellent quality.

Thanks Amigakit.

Yeah I have to say what great service Amiga Kit have, they repaired my Indivision, putting a new socket onto it for a great price and very quickly, they have always shipped very quickly to Japan and I will keep buying from them.

I've found them very good regards service and delivery and prices are reasonable given much of this gear is getting on a bit now.

I recently bought an A1200 PSU that I pulled to bits for my A1200 inside an A1000 mod project http://bitly.com/Amiga2200 and found the whole process of ordering and delivery superb really.

You only get what you pay for in this world I guess - in this case for me at least it was great service.

I cannot tell the difference between Amigakit.com feedback and the lady moaning on the Lil Louis' 'French Kiss' track... youtube it if you must but wear some headphones

Recently bought a PCMCIA network adapter for my A1200, which arrived in the mail on Monday. Nice and tidy little package, and it works quite well I'll certainly be buying from Amigakit again.

Keep up the good work

I suppose seeing as though it's you! I've not installed her yet

Mumsy said "Is that IT?!, That's a lot of money for that tiny thing"

I promptly told her that for good Amiga stuff a premium has to be made due to the low numbers which are probably bought.... and that women are known to buy even smaller things for lots more money like shoes, rings.. then she whacked me one

Anyway, ECS version next month methinks I like the fact you can stack/have them romping one another for dual screens... that is just dirty on Jen's part.

I gotta say the Indivision is a little marvel to use!

I am wondering though where to mount the SVGA connector. May remove the old RF unit from the pcb and mount it there as it's the right size for the hole!

The Indy gets toasty I've noticed

RF unit? you mean RGB socket?

I put it out of the zorro slot side.

I think I may have to go with sticking it in the left hand side of the case. FWSi will be in the way if I stuck it there... I don't think the RF port will be ideal really as the shielding isn't that strong to hold something like that firmly...

case modding it will be

Need to replace the laser module too as it was having problems picking up CDs last night.. damn thing! Lucikly I bought a spare a few years ago

FOL, Indy ECS. Do you know which 'extra' items you need to fit this to an A1000? Apparently you need a few extra bits but nout is listed on icomp.de as to what!

Cheers

Just bought for the first time through amigakit.com and wanted to give some feedback

I ordered 3.1 rom's and a new floppy drive for my 1200 as a first step to upgrading/bringing it up to scratch

* The Rom chips arrived within 48 hr's

I'll be honest though i did not feel confident in doing the change having never opened my 1200, but with the advise i got from the amigakit.com staff and the detailed instructions provided it was a breeze

* I also purchased the floppy on a seperate transaction around 3.30pm it was here the next day at 9.00 !!

Great Service and will be using again and again

Thank's

Chris

Yes,

Its a new add-on board that alters the position of the indi ECS, so it can be installed.

It will be added to the store within the next few hours.
