more built in floppy sound emulation
How I wish I could emulate the sound of my external DF1 through WinUAE. The A500 sound is cool, but the more distinctly loud gronk of an older external floppy drive is something that should be deeply considered. Am I crazy for suggesting this haha.

Well if we're going to do that, should we also request adding the sounds of a drive that's on the verge of going out?

I'll add them if you record them...
If anybody can record samples of a drive doing a full format of all 84 tracks in which ever drives you like, and then post them, I can convert them to the correct format for use with winuae...
Things needed in the samples..
1. sound of disk being inserted
2. sound of the inital "grab" of the disk when the drive motor starts on a freshly inserted disk
3. sound of the drive motor starting from a stopped state, and of it running
4. sound of a complete format of a disk (all 84 tracks)
I await your samples guys...
