Remember flicking through the pages of a crisp copy of Zzap64 magazine at your local Menzies or WHSmith? The fantastic cover art by artist Oliver Frey was always captivating. Relive those halcyon days with new book "The Fantasy Art of Oliver Frey" by Thalamus Publishing

Thanks for the link, Solid. I always loved the artworks for the Thalamus games like Armalyte, Delta or Hawkeye.

Ah....Oliver Frey - It was his stunning cover artwork on Crash (Spectrum magazine) that persuaded me to buy it.

Another artist I'm a huge fan of is Danny Flynn who produced many airbrush paintings for computer game cases and still doing them now.

The name of the Amstrad version illudes me tho because i didn't have one as long as i've had the other two!

probably Amtix and it'd still probably be Oliver Frey's artwork as he did work for all three magazines.
