Amiga Blizzard PPC card PPC@175 , 68040 @25 MHz, SCSI
+ SCSI Wire (wire not shown in the picture) Very good condition 100% working, tested with serveral boards and Bvisions. 2x 16MB are installed, these RAMs were tested on an other card and should be ok 200 Euro , I prefer IBAN / BIC money transfer shipping starts from 15 euro (UK,france,italy) ![]()

How much did it go for in the end? £148?
@Lopos What is a good (cheap) way of sending money via IBAN/BIC as I always used to get charged £14 ![]()

I use internet banking for sending iban/bic payments... charges are only 3.40 euro on my bank... but if you go and actually fill a form, they can go up to 20-30 euro!

@Keropi
Because the UK is not in Euro's the banks charge a LOT for IBAN transfers. Euro to Euro IBAN transfers AFAIK are supposed to be free. @Lopos Are you going to keep it an 040 or risk sending it away for upgrading to an 060?

ah, u need to exchange the cpu (duh!) re-position/re-solder some small thingies acting as jumpers, and finally flash the 060 firmware... the most difficult is the jumper thingies....

The jumpers aren't too bad, just flood both ends with solder to lift the jumpers away in a nice bubble of solder - that way there's no risk in pulling the tracks with them.
The _real_ pain in the ar5e is de-soldering the cpu - takes ages, and it's _really_ easy to press too hard with the soldering iron/solder pump combination. A word of experience - look where the tracks pass between the pins, and do your bet to avoid using the soldering iron where there are tracks. And the pin in the corner (next to the SIMM socket and the SCSI header) is a total ar5e to desolder too. |
