Coverdisks

Hi. Besides the 2 websites we all know, Amiga Coverdisks and the Nth Dimension, are there any sites that can fill the holes of the collections the previous 2 have left?
Or maybe a good FTP?
Coverdisks of the major Amiga mags are what I would love.

I don't know of any other sites unfortunately . Is there anything in particular you're after? I have a few (less than two dozen) issues of mags such as Amiga Shopper, Amiga User International, Amiga Computing and Amiga Format whose coverdisks aren't on the two sites you mention. You might have them already though cos I've uploaded some of them to the zone before now .

Big grin Not that this`ll help you right now but..

I have ALL cover disks for CU Amiga, The One, Amiga Format and Amiga Power! in the UK. I`m in the US right now...
If you want to let me know what you want, disk number, issue or whatever.. I`ll do my best to get a hold of them!

Go USA!!!

What kind of connection do you have, stainy? Is your collection ADF's? Probably not (like mine). In my case, I'm not really sure which disks I am missing (one of the first things I plan to audit when my final shipment arrives from CA).

Somebody should make up a list of all of the coverdisks available on those sites. I may start something similar. The tricky part is the names. I think TOSEC uses the issue number, followed by the disk number. So, for example:

Amiga Power - Issue 09 - Puggles (1992-01)(Future Publishing)(UK)

All we will probably need from such a list would be magazine name, issue number, disk number. I think that we will probably eventually list complete coverdiscographies at AGD, since quite a number of games were released exlusively to this format from commercial publishers.

I will probably do something on this tonight because it would be nice to try to get those coverdisk holes filled (no pun intended...)
