May be a wine problem, with Cedega works fine!
Look here: http://www.transgaming.com/
Ok, its not for free, but Cedega is better for games than wine.
I pay 13 Euro for Cedega, must be 10 Dollars. And you have 3 mounth for updates.

Posts #24, #25 and #26 were moved from the thread Turrican clone OUT now named Hurrican (which no longer exists as there's no point having such similar threads)

I get an fmod.dll error when running the installer

After googling, I installed http://www.fmod.org/files/fmodapi406...-installer.exe but it doesn't make any difference.

Bah.

I like this game, it rocks. A bit to hard, even in easy mode. Have you seen the second patch? Now the weapon switching via gamepad works fine.

Completed it yesterday. It's damn hard and in the beginning I thought I lost all my skills for playing such games back in my youth :-) Excellent game with great graphics and some really nice coding work. The music is also really good, but not on the same level as Hülsbeck's original tunes or the music from "Morgul Returns" (another great and very playable Turrican clone for Windows which is based on the T2002 engine).
