Errmm, it's my favourite game ever, and it's going quite strong in the EAB lately. I've played Amiga Sinbad to exhaustion and these screenshots suggest a totally different game, not just an enhanced version.

Hmmm, definitely seem / played those screens in the C64 version (although not that quality). It's definitely Sinbad and the Throne of the Falcon.

We can get most of the versions from the Cinemaware website: http://cinemaware.com/clsgame_sinbad.asp

... Amiga Disk Image
... C=64 Disk Image
... Apple IIgs Disk Image
... PC EXE

Maybe it's time to check them all out and solve the mystery

These screenshots have nothing to do with the Amiga version. There's certainly a mysterious story lurking behind this. People always say the Amiga version is the worst, but hey, look at those IIGs discussion balloons, they 're not even connected to the corny lady. And the dialogue is far wittier in the Amiga version. I assume that's Libitina?
Anyway, Amiga Sinbad is a Bill Williams game in all respects and I know that after Sinbad his collaboration with Cinemaware became a little shaky. In the later games, such as Rocket Ranger he contributed to a much lesser degree. Perhaps someone in "the company" didn't like his game and ideas (as most people... ) and managed to sidestep such a great talent. Phew !

I don't actually believe the screens are from any of the known versions.

I don't believe so..It looks like they could be conceptual art for some other unreleased version. The best thing to do is email Cinemaware and hope they reply (and know what they're talking about)
