AFAIK it works with all available Screenmodes (AGA, OCS, ECS, Grafixcard) and it *should* also work on a barebone A500, but I really dunno how fast Test it out

Retroman didn't write "Puzzle Bobble". He wrote "PuzzleBob" and the site says "PuzzleBobs".

Bad boy Akira! Jumping to silly little conclusions. I may have to kick your ass

Bad boy Akira! Bad! I should break your back on my knee, like so, for I am El Asso Wipo

He said Bust-A-Move clone, meaning not Puzzle Bobble, but a CLONE of Puzzle Bobble

For clones already on the Amiga, try
Virtual Ball Fighters
Puzzle Fighters
Candy Puzzle (Rare! Ninjaw has it for CD32 though)

There was also this really good shareware game, but I can't remember what it's called

Bad Akira Bad!

All I have seen are shite and do not work on my A600.. BTW I didnt say this was a straight port of Puzzle Bobble, I meant I love the original game, and any clone is welcomed! (I kind of eliminated some of these words from my original message... :P)

I WILL FREEZE YOU LIKE GUILE IN AN SF2 MACHINE!

Bad Akira Bad!

If I could find a picture of "El Asso Wipo" or even "Senor Bag Of Crap", I would put them here to show the wrath of breaking your back on my knee, like so.

To summarise, "You rape my house. You rape, my house"

I liked Puzzle Bobble. And I've looked for clones, but all I found were crud, but I don't think I tested out any of those you listed.

You shouldn't laugh, they have guts to venture onto a "dead" platform. There are some for the C64 too... from which I preordered Metal Dust

Yeah he didn't poke fun at them maliciously, really.

Though I agree that some people should not be trying to charge so much for software for these platforms, and threaten with 'leaving the platform'. I dont like that really ;/

Metal Dust

You made sure before pre-orderinjg that it needs a SuperCPU?

pS:SCPU is a speed-up and ram expansion for C64, it's very expensive

I will also need an FD200 CMD drive, or a 1581...

Eek Deja Vu feeling

To bring this topic back to life again: I think Puzzle Bob is old hat. I am 90% sure I have read a review of this game in one of the final issues of Amiga Format in 1999/2000.
Please can someone else proof that I am right (or wrong)?

I don't think that AF would review such a title (it's very "low budget", to say the least).

Did you check the demo ? If you're just guessing because of the "Bust-A-Move" clone description,
could it be the title you're talking about was called "Bubble Heroes" ? This is a PuzzleBoble
clone which was released last year, with sprites in Mange style. This one is really cool.

Please define 'old' ? The Amiga market is in really bad shape now due to another two years
with no new products. But still you can sell 500-1000 copies of a *good* title (which this
game certainly isn't), so I think it's not *that* stupid ;-) (as long as you don't have to
make a living from it).

Three years ago, the Voxel flight simulator "Shadow Of The Third Moon" sold 10.000 copies,
you won't sell much more copies of a Mac title.

Just that you are not buying Amiga stuff anymore doesn't mean the market has completely
vanished (granted, it will vanish in the next half year if the new PPC based motherboards
and OS4 will be suffer from more delays).
