Thumbs up Thanks Twistin'

That was quick!

Hmmm. I've just realised DragonStone is actually on the PE2000 archive but it's called Dragstone. I overlooked it because it sounds like a cross dressing queenie game. :laugh

Nope, no AGA First Samurai. I can't imagine one, either. There was so much going on in that game that AGA would only serve to clutter things up (remember the Zool games?)

Even when Second Samurai came out, I couldn't get the ECS version to ever work on my Amiga. There was some little niggle in the hardware it didn't like. I think I was PAL booting from floppy, which isn't a hardware exact PAL boot, so maybe that was it. I've since that time hardware hacked my motherboard for true PAL, but I am no longer using a 68000, so I know the game would croak under the 030.

Roll eyes (sarcastic) Tell me about it!!

I used to know all the good sites but the majority of them have been closed down now. The only two I visit now are LeChuck's Amiga Heaven and PE2000. Are there any other really good sites I don't know of??

Happy Thanx Amigaboy

I already knew about Jambo but I didn't use it much. I think I will from now on though. I tried the DreamZone site but only a few of their games page links worked and all the downloads I tried wouldn't work either.

You shouldn't bother with The Dreamzone unless you know the Login and Password for the files

Is there a way to get a login and password? Do I have to e-mail the guy or something?

Back when I got access, you had to upload something

Then. People told me you just had to e-mail the guy

Now. I have no idea. Try e-mailing him though

PE2000? www.pe2000.net

Dreamzone? No idea. I think all the Tripod mirror pages have been taken down. Try going to http://jambo.abime.net and looking for The Dreamzone in the game links section

Question

Actually Steve_b did raise one point-I've used Lechuck's Amiga Heaven to, but I've noticed it's been sometime since it's been updated,(Although I haven't been there recently.), does anyone know if it's still being maintained by it's author?

Although not exactly known for rarities, Back to the Roots hasn't been too bad either.
I would add Amiga Power, but they're warning that there's too much pop-up spamming affecting their site.

When I first added an Amiga page to my site the *only* site I linked to was LeChuck's.

It's a shame he hasn't updated, to be honest. I find it to be the cleanest and best site - for quick downloads of the best games.

I can offer a semi-permanent home to a fair amount of stuff, and have a spare 50Mb if anyone wants to suggest some GOOD games to add to my site.

The point is that I want the games that are better for the Amiga than for other systems - and vice versa for all systems.

BTW, Smurf Rescue on the Coleco is a classic, for all your put-downs (in another thread) Twist!
