@Softhut & Amigakit

I've purchased from both recently and they both have outstanding customer service.

Just wanted to say thanks, I now have the Amiga I always wanted when I was a kid. Amiga's aren't big business nowadays, and I'm glad you guys manage to keep the doors open.

If any new or re-discovering Amiga users are looking to make a purchase, be sure to give either a try.

Soft Hut sells pirate software, I wouldnt touch them with a barge pole!

Ambermoon English was never released, this disc was compiled illegally by the now defunct Alive Mediasoft here in the UK (from the free version given away on the Thalion Webshrine) sold to SoftHut in 2000. Even after being identified as pirate SoftHut has continued to sell (or offer to sell) the disks for six years.

National Amiga in Canada was a favorite after the local dealers all folded. I used to have good friends who ran shops, and they all ended up giving up the ghost in the late 90's.

I appreciate Amiga shops that are open to this day. Though let me say that the service I got from SoftHut was costly/non-existant and if I bought anything new today, I'd have it shipped from Europe instead of dealing with them again.

Thumbs up

I had never had a problem with Softhut. Infact, I still do business with
Softhut today. However, today Amigakit.com has become my favorite
place to shop. Amigakit.com is the best International Amiga Dealer in the
world!
