My list of Flash Amiga games

I'm trying to compile a comprehensive list of all the Amiga/Amiga-inspired Flash remakes out there and thought you'd be the people to ask for suggestions.

Here's what I've got so far. Comments, corrections, new links and merciless bitching at me for spamming my own blog are very welcome.

Shockwave is NOT Flash!!

I thought, wow!, Amiga games in Flash!

I have only played IK+ and lost vikings in Flash.... but then saw that your so called "Flash" list is shockwave. some games are not Amiga games, just remakes, like Pang... should be the Amiga gfx to be an Amiga game....

Only tried 2 games so.... donno about the other ones. on the page

Well yeah, some are better than others. Their heart's in the right place I suppose.

Ironclaw, I said right off the bat that some were only 'Amiga inspired' and not pixel-perfect conversions.

If the Shockwave games were as accurate as Rick Dangerous and IK+ I doubt anyone would care that they weren't Flash. It's a bit of Xmas fun, chill out dude.

I found a new one to add to the list: Megaman vs Ghosts 'n' Goblins.

Much more like GnG than Megaman, and if you ask me, that can only be a good thing.

Very intressting Thread... i really love my old Amiga500 and 1200 and really enjoyed that time. sad that most of your like are down I could run a emulator but it takes always time to adjust + cannot install such at work. So Flash are a nice way to enjoy classic Games !

I already try to collect all classic Flash games, that are free! on my Site http://skleg.de/cat/102/Arcade/newest/p1.html so if you "save" some of that swf files you sites links, i would love to add them to skleg that all people can enjoy classic games for free.

Amiga game intros converted to flash: http://www.generate-password.com/amiga/videos/intros/ Just click and watch. You don't need Flash 9.0 or above. You can zoom with right mouse button.

At least X-Out and Perihelion have voice too, but I'm quite sure those aren't the only ones

Well, I have installed WinUAE at work and the monitor on my laptop even supports 50 Hz, so everything runs very smoothly. :-)

I think Robocop might have been one of the earliest games to feature digitised speech. It was even included in the Spectrum version.

Thanks for the link. Nice collection there.

How about Ghostbusters? It was either on the C64 or the Speccy that some godawful noise came out of the loudspeaker - 'You Slimed Me' or words to that effect

Yep, I don't think it's going to trouble the game charts too much, but what the heck. Added, thanks.

A new little flash game featuring SUPERFROG has been added to Recorded Amiga Games!

Play it: HERE

Anyone who has played Dithell's Wonderland, Charlie Chimp and CarVup knows what this game is about
