I remember it well, was produced (the module in question) at my house one summer during a very drunken evening with Ezy/Ecstasy and friends that I can't remember the nicknames of... no idea who did the finished demo, just that we thought it was comedy gold at the time... the innocence of youth!

Posted by Mungo: Nice that you kept all that old stuff. I lost my miggy ages ago. But what really upsets me is losing my A590. All my graphics, all the old Anthrox stuff - all gone. At least most of the ATX demos are around online, but losing my old work hurts. Even if it was a bit crap compared to the top gfx bods of the time.
I know the feeling m8 lost shit loads of graphics on Amiga i lost all my 12 disks of graphics don't seem like a lot but at the time when pics logo's where only small files you could fit a lot on a disk eh! and as for the stuff i've lost on the PC don't even go there

I Still have most of the stuff i saved to hd later on (A1200 etc)

heh Must admit, I'm liking it too, especially since 2 arch enemies have become friends!

It's good to see more and more old skool sceners making their way here.

Couldn't agree more on both counts.

WayneK - I knew Ezy pretty well and would see him and Mark (Can't remember his scene name for the life of me - He was in Razor for a while) from time to time in The Venue down in New Cross. Remember getting very drunk with them both on more than one occaision. Saw them both turn from nice clean-cut hippy lads into boozed-up, NIN loving goths.

Would see TIW from SAE down there every now and then too.

To be honest, it wouldn't surprise me if you and I had crossed paths in Croydon/Mitcham at some point. In fact, I think we did. Might just be my memory playing tricks on me though. PM me and we'll try and get to the bottom of it

Do you still see anything of Ezy?

That song _was_ hilarious, but probably only if you knew Sabrewulf in person. It seemed like Ricky's role in the scene was to have the piss ripped out of him and to get high phone bills. Poor lad - I remember him being involved in at least one conference call where all the other participants ripped him stupid

Sarek2k - Yeah, gutting isn't it.

I remember the song now... Took me a while to get there but I do remember it.

Speaking of people getting ripped the piss out of them, Alchemist anyone?

Do you mind if I don't?

I remember a demo by Hotwire that absolutely slated him. Had Alchemists picture next to someone else's (I don't remember who) with a little heart between them. Aaaaah.

He was an irritating person, it has to be said. Harmless enough though.

And had some lovely music in the background.

Dave was a good bloke if you were on his side, but if you weren't he was a so and so...

*waves in case he's here*

It still beats the hell outta me where everyone from the UK actually went? The scene changed (granted) but I bet at least 95% percent of oldskoolers are still as computer active as they always were, but obviously in different circumstances.

Surely most of em are aware that retro based forums like EAB etc exist, so why not get involved and have a crack with your old m8's erm.. and enemies.

Quite a lot of the big sceners now work in the computer industry and have no intention of knocking on the door of the past.

Though I'm sure a lot of them are casual spectators of forums such as this. Seen the amount of views these threads get?

They're out there alright. They might not be knocking on the door, but they're definately watching who goes in and out of it.

Majic - Nice screenshot. I'd forgotten all about Alchy's 1970s IRA moustache.

I think Mungo is right when he mentions about there being lots of spectators.

A little 'Hi this was me and I'm still alive' wouldn't hurt tho?

what you have to remember is that peoples attitudes change. What was once cool then for some isn't so cool now. Some of them have buried their Amiga past with their Amigas and for them it was no more than a distraction for a few years before they moved on and did something else.

Me? I haven't stopped since 1989.... its time I got a new hobby!!!
