Spactrum emulation

Hi British types, and German types as well, what what?
Yeah well I am just rying Spectrum emulation for the first time. I've read too many article on the Spectrum and its games online, in RetroGamer etc, to ignore it. Looks like the games are nice, but can someone suggest the best emus for Windows and Mac?? Zophar's and Google show tons.

First game you should play is Jet Set Willy closely followed by Sabre Wulf.

ZX32 for Windows really rocks, and it is small, reliable, stable and VERY compatible... and the best thing, it's written by a Greek author! We Greeks loved (and still love) little speccy very much! As for Mac, I don't have a specific suggestion! Don't forget the two speccy emus for our beloved AMIGA that can be found in Aminet (e.g. ZXam and ASpEmu) and are really cool, too...
As for games.... I would dare to say that everything is good, in its own way If you like adventures & strategy, try Lords of Midnight, Heavy on the Magick, Spiderman, Gangsters, Dictator and Skooldaze/Back to Skool (some of my faavorites).

I recommend Spin (http://www.zxspin.co.uk/) and Klive (ftp://ftp.worldofspectrum.org/pub/si...s/Klive11.zip). Klive is by Steve Snake, the author of KGen, Kega and Fusion.

ZX32 is indeed a nice Speccy emulator and the first EMU I ever used. My only gripe is it only works in 16-bit colour screen modes, refusing to work on a 32-bit colour desktop.
