Floppy Drives

Hello !
Does anyone out there know if I can use a pc floppy drive and thus gain access to 1.4 meg of space as against the 880k limit of the Amiga drive. I look forward to any replies

Nope not possible afaik.. well not without some serious hacking anyway

Where do you want to install this FD? PC or Amiga? In case that you want to install a PC FD to an Amiga this link might help http://www.freewebs.com/computolio/a...atibility.html. Otherwise I don't think that you can use your PC FD to write or read Amiga disks without having the Catweasel MK4 controller. Check this out also http://amiga.emugaming.com/floppy1.html

get yourself an external XL drive you can then read and wright to pc discs with cross dos

Thanks for that cool first link xalakibaniou! I had a Sony MPF240-1 I had just ripped out of an old PC and was going to throw it away. Now I've re-jumpered it and it should now work as an Amiga drive!
