Put a pallette and some ideas for gfx in the zone or attach it to your reply and I will see if I can do anything.

the palette is independent from the backgrounds; these the specs:
16 colours' palette for backgrounds
15+1 transparent palette shared between tiles and enemies;
if you prefers me to, i can design in pen and paper some ideas for "furniture" and monsters, and then leave to your imagination; i will post to you (and any interested in help) the 7 screens done and you chose wich ambientation you want to work on. the design i will do starting from tomorrow.
also one of them bosses, is already taken, probably for one of the later levels, so for that the palette will be fixed.

[edit] gifgit: check pm

Thanx!
Any ideas with pen and paper or if you use dpaint to design some rough ideas would be great
Is there any limit to how many colours one sprite may have?

alas, 16 (15+1): as i said the tiles for the map and the enemies share the same palette; also, as i have not yet talk about them with Humphrey, i'm not sure about their animations, if any; about them it's better to ask him directly, i will in the weekend as i'll start work on them.

i have worked up a zip file containing all the backgrounds of the game, a doc file with the specs of the grapic, WIP concept and design details for the levels (not all of them here, as there are still ideas i would like to look through) and some idea/drawing for objects and sprites; i wait some audio detail from Graham and eventual amendaments;
i prompt anyone interested in help with the work, to drop a line here and i'll pm the link to him; pm to gifgit on the way.
for the musicians that are currently workin on it in particulary could be interesting, but as i'm able to hear from Graham only 2 times a week, and i don't know the specific arrangement you have made, please take the stuff with salt until amended.

Sorry to bring this up again, but I'm pretty desperate for more gfx people, to basically help with enemy sprites and map tiles. I'm not willing to give too much away here, but if you are interested, please PM or e-mail me!

Ok Graham I've started to work on some graphics for ya, but you gotta convert them to 16 colors yourself since I can't do that. Are you on MSN? Please feel free to add johan _ Brodd @ Hotmail . com to your contacts.

I'm doing music for a living. So if you want a highquality version of 1 or 2 of the songs in the game then give me a shout.

And just so you know, I'm not keen in uploading my stuff at the zone, so I'll let up an FTP acount where these involved can upload / download their files. I'll get back when this is done.

You've probably heard enough replies to this now, but I can probably help with the music, be fun! (used to track all the time on my miggy, still have it and of course UAE). PM if you still need, otherwise no worries. Wouldn't mind trying demo though! Good Luck
