conversion of Elvira: Mistress of the Dark for CPC: http://cpc.devilmarkus.de/elvira/elvira.html
Devilmarkus has been working for several months on an Amstrad CPC conversion of the role-playing game Elvira: Mistress of the Dark, which was highly acclaimed on the Amiga. Now he's released a four-minute video preview of the game which you can watch. Featuring colourful graphics, digitised music and sound, and animated sequences, Elvira: Mistress of the Dark looks certain to be a great game, if it's finished (it is a very ambitious project; the Amiga version occupies three discs!). Devilmarkus hopes that it will be released in the first half of 2008.

I must say I never really played cpc games on emu, only on my real cpc

Damn wish I lived in a castle where a room was devoted to only one machine and all its software

At least, some people decide to "up" the really interesting threads in the retro-gaming section !

You can count me in for CPC gaming discussions !

What's that sudden interest for the CPC and its "bad chips" . Did the German finally got tired of good'ol C64 ?

@Marco : may I ask what you call an imagepack ? A pack with many CPC games to download or something similar to Gamebase Amiga ?

Speaking of CPC emulators, it depends if you favor accuracy (CPCE) or a user-friendly interface (Caprice32) but lesser compatibility.

i am on of the co-administrator of the phénix informatique CPC site .

There is a moment that i dump myself in CDT files and DSK files original CPC games.

We have lately produced and upped many CPC quality games.

Speedlock lovers on disks and tapes, hexagon protections fans too will find their
happiness.

i have upped thanks to an italian chap called Abraxas Deliverance stormlord 2, narc, chips challenge, monty python....

96 % of the hexagon protected games are available on disks and tapes.

Actually, refering to DSK or CDT images we have, winape is leader for games using GAP data marking protection.

For the rest, CPCE (very accurate for CDT schemes), Wincpc (very accurate for CDT schemes), winape (bad CDT loading, and
not accurate enough for original disks protected (trackloaded games like hexagon protected ones), caprice32 (can read GAP protected titles).

i meant the screenshots there's a download i found that contains a frontend + games and screenshots, but since of the games i have already a collection, i just looked for the screenshots for ECC.
