The inventory problem was in Treasure Island and Fantastic, wasn't it? It was worse in Treasure Island though, for the underwater bits, because if you dropped the snorkel you'd die instantly!

Treasure Island was my favourite. The inventory rotation killed me countless times when I picked them up in the wrong order! It was a great game, and I always saw the inventory rotation as a puzzle, just an annoying one :P

I can't see the "none of them" option.
I can't understand what people find in the Dizzy Series. Uninteresting and fairly unplayable to boot - and I found most of them rather pointless and none of my friends of the high school found them fun, too - odd.

I played them on the Amstrad :-D

The thread was called "best of Dizzy poll" so I assumed it was for every dizzy game ... nm ;-)

There was a port of the first Dizzy on BlitzBasic.com. It's page was moved though so I don't know what system it was for, but it was probably a PC build.

Maybe someone remembers the 2 Giddy games on Amiga? It was a DIZZY like PD game. Very good. One of my fav PD games ever.

There is also a 3rd part for Peecee. But I didn`t try it.
