Send a message via ICQ to stainy Send a message via MSN to stainy
? You use winrar to unpack the rar files and give you the contents and use something like DVD shrink to put conents onto a DVDR

Wow.. i just played DVD 2 and it really brought back ALOT of memories!.. all of the games i had played, but i had not seen all the introductions to all those games.. and it was great to finally see them all!. Although the introduction to Awesome brought back alot of memories, because i had bought the original and i can remember been blown away by its intro.

Also after a friend of mine saw Awesome running.. he borrowed the game off me, then took it home to his big Stereo Tv, and blew up the speakers on one side when the ship comes out of its warp at the start of the intro. hehehe..

His parents werent too happy that day!.

I just click on first RAR file, unpack to a single 4.5 GB (.iso) file, then open Nero, close wizard, click on menu FILE/OPEN, select ISO file, Nero will automatically do the rest and ask you to insert a blank DVD...now BURN THAT MUTHAF**KA!

Et voila... ;-)

How come there are no HTTP links for the first DVD? I can't seem to find a working torrent link either, and even then I doubt there'd be any seeders for it by now.

I think it would be good to remove temporary the 4th DVD from his site so he can put DVD1 for those who wish to complete the series!

Come on, just let it a week or so online

Yes, Usenet would be more ideal for me too. I've given up on BitTorrent and its all-round shittiness! =P

Don't want to post a link to Gametronik's website as they host .IPF files

I'll send you a PM

How much bandwidth you think to use ?
Have you limits on it ?
Please use emule , a mod like emuleplus is good so far for this purpose ,
just when u will share We shall begin to dl and upl and for these files will be created permanent sources in less than 1 month .

Consider to spread them using emule , just 8 16kb in upload wouldn't hurt you
and any other .

I was just thinking weren't alot of the demos running at 50 fps and DVD is up to 30 fps? That doesn't make sense does it?

I recommend reading through PAL, NTSC, 576i, and Interlace at Wikipedia. DVD/MPEG-2 output is identical to interlaced TV output, whether it's coming from broadcast or an Amiga. PAL DVD/video is 50 "fields" alternating between 288 pairs of odd/even lines, or 25 frames of 576 total lines, per second, while NTSC DVD/video is 60 "fields" of 240 odd/even lines, or 30 frames of 480 lines, per second.

Feel free to pick up a copy of MindCandy vol 2 and compare it with real Amiga output on the same TV to see what I'm talking about.

Okay thanks a lot for that and I was actually watching MindCandy Vol 1 which includes PC demos where I was looking at the scrolling men figurines at the top as well as bottom of the screen on the Broadband demo wherewith I noticed they weren't scrolling silky-smoothly though maybe it was like that in the original. Obviously because Amiga demos contain a lot of smooth side-scrolling then I'll be able to look-out for it when I get a DVD and thanks.

I've just found out that if I change the output on my DVD player to NTSC instead of PAL matching the DVD then I get it silky smooth but this this is a region-free player so why won't it automatically switch the output?

No one of you , although comes from Amiga exp ,
understood that for spreading up these copies you need a p2p like emule , ed2k protocol ,
the result is that Many do not know where to get one ,
and that the forum is dying
Bah...
