Do A600 trapdoors fit A1200 Trapdoor slots?

Hi, im selling an amiga spares kit on Ebay and it includes some amiga 600 trapdoors. I have recieved a question asking if the A600 trapdoors fit an A1200.

Do they? Thanks.

to make it simple..... No!

They are completely different machines, different memory architecture and different chipsets!

It'd be like putting Chips in a toaster

Just to makes sure, I meant the actual trapdoor and not a trapdoor expansion.

The actual plastic door.

Is that what you meant?

If it's the same width/length it should, I don't have an a600 to test i'm afraid

Hmm I think they do but im not sure, I need someone to measure their A1200 trapdoor for me if possible!

Just checked my Amiga's
No, they don't fit. A600 is much smaller than the A1200 ones.
