Boing Bag driving mad!!

Hi 2 all.
New post, new problem. (i believe this was replyed elsewhere but... )

The point is i canīt manage to install boing bag 2 in my 1200 nor mi pc running WinUAE.

The installer give me the options to install XAD10, then the new rom update...
Then the script stops saying something like "the password to decompress filexxx isnīt correct" and a requester appears saying abort/ignore.

The amiga XL CD is in the drive and after a bit of investigation in the installer script seems like the installer is searching in the cd the password to decompress the update, but to no avail.
I canīt get this fixed.

The same on my WinUAE 1200, so i think is not a fault in my 1200.
Any sugestions are welcome .

Thanks!!!!

OH! just for curiosity, what should i do to enter in THE ZONE?? When i try it says NO permission.

Thanks again!!

Erm, it would help to have the original OS 3.9 CD in the drive instead of the Amiga XL CD if you're trying to install the Boing Bag updates

Amiga OS XL already has BB1 installed and needs a special BB2 which I believe can be found on the haage&partner website

@Amigaz
Weird.....didn't know Amiga XL had any of the Boing Bags on them and that they were customised versions.

hmmm...after looking on the H&P website it seems like the plain BB2 should work with OSXL, there's no custom BB2
I fiddled with this over 3 years ago so my memory is faint.

In haage partner words: amiga XL comes with boing bag 1 pre-installed. To upgrade to boing bag 2 put the original amiga os 3.9 OR AMIGA XL cd and start the installer. Nothing about a special boing bag version.

More ideas welcome!!!

Like I said, put in an original OS 3.9 CD into the drive (perhaps you can borrow one off somebody). I can tell you for a fact that it will solve your installation problems on a real Amiga (and probably on the emulation side too). Obviously having your Amiga XL CD in the drive isn't doing the job. Emailing H&P might be worth a try, but don't be surprised if you don't get any help or response from them. Anyone else here use Amiga XL and can perhaps provide some advice?
