it seems very nice, but as it is a JAVA (correct?) BT game, it will be jerky.... like Macrospace's Fatal Force... and Macrospace programmers are very good... the game plays niceley single-player, but on BT it sux, at least on my 6600 ...

Wasn't Bip a PD game? Not that ripping off a PD is any better, but i'm sure that the 'original' Bip wasn't exactly unique.

It wasn't unique because it spawned a fuckload of clones. It was an original idea and if the guy didn't copyright iit (seems so) he has lost big time with this conversion,.

What I meant Akira is that 'Bip' wasn't anything that hadn't been thought up before, it was just well implemented. My point was that Amiga Bip wasn't a totally original concept itself, therefore the question of who has "ripped off" who is a mute one.

I'm sure that i played a very similar game in the arcades or even on the Atari 2600 when i was very small but i can't remember the name so my argument is weakened on that point

Coming up with assumptions is no good unless you prove them like good old CodyJarrett has done here with this screenshot.

So this is the original, as far as we can remember. Kickarse. Funny thing, I have that one, but I haven't fired up my Intelly and I havent' checked most of the games I got for it.

My apologies, you'd rather I left you with the assumption that the game was "unique".

I think that rather depends on the game, and your phone...

true, but BT does take some cpu time, and JAVA is a very "heavy" language... Perhaps on the 6630 (200+ Mhz cpu) this will not be a prob, but on 6600 (104Mhz cpu) java apps with BT are jerky... and 6600 is one one the beefier phones...
