I already noticed the first title skyrocketing, and now Xenon2, it´s just insane.... That just takes out all the fun of collecting stuff....

So what's the go with Super Street Fighter II Turbo ? Is the winning bidder an arsehole or is he really going to pay for this one this time ? Because I still want it !

YES. eBay should be considered an absolute last resort.

I think what Windows say is correct, the guy manually upped it to his limit. In teh case of the CD32 games mentioned here there is a real shadyness to it all.

Looks like depechemode guy is adamant to get rid of Xenon 2 - although he warns if it doesn't sell to anybody this time he'll keep hold of it. Wooooooooh!!!

Look at this one. Even if its one of the rarest but 349€ are definately too much.

I'm a little bit confused after looking at this thread while perusing the Internet and I remember seeing this very auction. In fact I bought a CD off of the very person you're speaking about, namely depechemode and it was the CD32 Demo Disc 2.0 version shown off in shops to showcase the Amiga CD32 but I'm ashamed to admit it though I bought it for around one hundred pounds. Do you mean he set up another account and outbid himself?

100 pounds is wayyyyyy too much!!!
I bought the demo Disc v1.1 for around 20 euros like a year ago and I've seen auction for both demos disc v1.1 and v1.2 go for like 25 euros.

Oh well we learn from our mistakes I s'pose and I would like to know if some eBay sellers really do try that technique of having two accounts wherewith when they sell an item with one of them they strategically outbid themselves in order to bump up the selling price. Is that at all possible as seems like so?

Super Street Fighter II Turbo for the Amiga CD32 is up again on eBay: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Super-Street-F...QQcmdZViewItem
How rare is this game and going by that depending on it's rareness how likely do you think it is of it ever appearing in a TOSEC pack? Because to my understanding you need two copies of a game for verification purposes before it can be uploaded: http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=18977

Yeah I know, but I asked this question because I wasn't sure whether to bid on it because if I didn't I may never stand a chance of getting it again subject to TOSEC so that's why I wanted to know how rare it is and judging by that how likely it is ever to be seen in a TOSEC pack. I'd rather have a copy of it as well than the original and save money as well as I don't have alot

It doesn't matter as long as I know someone has it I can always ask could I? But I'm not bothered just yet so don't upload it I just need to know if ever I was to ask for it would you upload it for me, TheBoss?

So is this the rarest CD32 game then and if not do you know what is or is that not possible to be measured, but can only be assumed by # of times seen

No problem with me so agreed
As for rarity the game is rare but not the rarest CD32 game around.
I have seen the game I believe 3 times in about a year on ebay so I would put the game in a top 10 list of rare CD32 games but not at the top.

SSF2T is not that rare - I bought my boxed copy on eBay a year or so ago for £9. Perhaps I was lucky?

You can't I haven't seen it in any TOSEC packs I've come across yet and torrent sites I know including newsgroups from what I understand from here: http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=17328 as well as eMule.

The regular Street Fighter and Street Fighter 2 were incorporated into the 888 compilation CD, however: http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=16338&page=6

Other than that you'll just have to buy the turbo edition of it unless unlike me you're badly after it you could beg TheBoss to upload it who I thank though don't want it uploading for me as of the aforementioned and on your second question wouldn't I like to know, but I don't know if just because a game isn't in a TOSEC pack it's rarer than those already in there only that the persons who submitted the games are the ones that just so happened to contribute though the ones with SSFII Turbo didn't.

You sure it was the CD³² version you bought back then, and not, say, the Amiga floppy/PC version?

Seeing as they both own it, musashi5150 & TheBoss could always rip the CD & I can add it to the CD32 dat... If they are both feeling helpful of course Especially as I already have 1 unverified dump of it waiting around.

It might remind TheBoss about the last PM sent too :P

I've got Demo Disc v1.1 and v2.0, which I could dump if required. Also Nigel Mansell (though there doesn't appear to be a CDD reference on the disc). Got Disposable Hero also, but the surface is terrible so prolly not worth bothering with ...

What format do you want? ISO?

Some rental/2nd hand shops have disc polish(machines), they can fix pretty much any disc that hasn't got scratched all the way to the "silver" layer.

ISO+WAV or Bin/Cue, i guess. Disposable Hero has some CDDA tracks.

@Idoru

I assume you already have the Back2roots version.

A Mode1/2048 ISO is fine for data only CD's.

For more information there's a dumping guide here: http://wiki.toseciso.org/guide.

Thanks in advance for any submissions, got lots of CD32 games that have been waiting a long time now for a 2nd person to dump.

I might have the Back2roots version somewhere on my harddrive, but we're only looking at ripping from original discs for the project

Quite a few of the resulting images have found their way to KillerGorilla for WHD installs etc, so the images do have multiple benefits

They have a mp3 rip & full cd image backup, never downloaded this one. I got a Clone CD backup from emule, verfied with the TAU Analyzer. But anyway, Chain will probably dump his original for you.
