That was the first home video game console I played on. A friend of mine had it and I visited him almost daily to play on it. Ah good memories

It was first video game console I played as well. I actually rented the console loaded with lots of pirated games.

Good ol' days...

@ the time you could buy tapes full of ZX Spectrum or C64 games.

my new corner-table:

CD32 with SX32PRO and IDE to SDHC (16GB), ATX-power supply, PSX to CD32 pad adapters, y-adapters and of course several joysticks
big 50Hz tv
Atari2600
small TFT-tv
C64
DVD player
SNES
Logitech 2.1 Soundsystem, PC speaker for 1541U+ and a speaker that gets the radio signal of my media-pc, so i can listen to any mp3/webradio or so during gaming..

best regrads!

p.s. sd-"harddrives" can be easily swapped from outside - the CD32 just HAD to be the star of this series... :-)

Here's a photo of the TV/console cabinet from my games room. I have a couple of other areas in the house with computers or consoles set up, but this is the main room. On one side we have the Sega Master System, Mega Drive & 32X, and Dreamcast. On the other side we have the Nintendo Entertainment System, Super NES, and Nintendo 64. In the centre are the 32bit CD consoles, the Playstation and the CD32.

The Master System, NES and SNES all have their official phaser guns, and I've got several official and aftermarket controllers for all of them too. Oh, and there's a Wiimote candy dispensor there too, next to the Self Arcade joystick.

TheCyberDruid, sorry that arcade joystick came out at EB in Australia a few years ago for PS1/2/Xbox, I doubt there'd be any for sale new, however there are still Hori Real Arcade sticks being made and sold for these consoles too.

Nope, I mentioned the HotRodSE that I have. Unfortunately you can no longer get them new

It also looks like SlikStik have gone out of business. As you can see from the previous link, the homepage no longer exists... Here's a link talking about it a little

Some good news though, you can still get the X-Arcade (which Paul_s and a few other members have). These are pretty cool as you can get adapters to connect them to most consoles as well as the PC
