Was that released on the Amiga, I always thought it as an Amstrad/ C64 / oldskool game?

with funky little featurettes of music!!!

haaaa, Jack the Nipper
this bring some memories indeed.

It was released on the MSX too.

The 1st one was real cool. With some little twitches in the gameplay (The way the adults chase you is plain stupid), and it would proabably be a real big classic game.
The 2nd one was too big for its own good, I could never bother too much with it. I was always just wandering around the jungle, lost as hell.

@KombatSanta: send the images ... if they exist I'd like to play it apart from anything else! Loved the first one on the Amstrad CPC. I remember it came with a free badge - "Watch out! This kid plays Jack The Nipper!" I wonder where that went to...

I never figured out what the idea of the first one was. Always wandered around not knowing what was happening.

The second one was more standard platformerish I think. first one was more fun exploring in anyway.

1st one was more down to earth ;-)

.. I think the idea was to get your naughty-o-meter (I think) up to full by p*ssing everyone off

yes
that was the point
you had to be a nasty kid and piss off everyone. There are specific ways to do this. I remember a few, like destroying the dishes in the dishwasher store, or making the plants to become monsters.. you could also get your father's credit card and blow it... stuff like that

In the 2nd one, your family gets so pissed that they throw you in a jungle in the middle of Africa. Then you have to piss off the people on the jungle.

The trouble is that the 2nd one is HUGE. Everything is so far away. I had a map of it that came in a brazilian magazine... one item that you need in a specific room is usually dozens of rooms away... and as you can carry onle ONE item at time, it becomes frustrating really fast.

I never finished the 1st one, but I could fill about 80% of my naughty-o-meter by myself, without the need of maps or walkthroughs.

From what I read above seems pretty clear now that KombatSanta had a whiff of the good old 'shroom and imagined Jack the Nipper 2 being released on the Amiga.

So the images, logically, do not exist ;D

Yup, strange that I've got Jack the nipper for the amiga in the TOSEC collection, but that the sequal never got released for the miggy

Oh well, It would be nice to have had it on my CD32 collection, but.. you know

Hehe, I remember ordering this "Jack The Nipper" from the local pirate all those years ago (yeah yeah, sorry, we didn't have access to any of the originals back then, and even if we did I doubt this Jack the Nipper would be for sale ;-) ) thinking that it is the old 8bit one remade on the miggy... and what I got was Pr0n ;-))))
