PD overhead deathmatch-type game

Hmm, okay, I'm looking for a game I used to play quite a bit on my A500... I believe it was for one or two players, but it could have been two player only. It was a PD overhead shooter, but it played a bit like Doom deathmatch or something..you ran around with a little man and picked up various weapons, trying to eliminate another little guy. It was probably released around 1993 or so, and I think it was coded in AMOS or Blitz Basic.

I seem to remember the title being something like 'Excessive Overkill' or something like that, but I could be totally wrong about that part.

Unbelievably addictive for such a lo-fi game. I used to be able to spend hours playing Extreme Violence against friends without getting even remotely tired of it. The version I had came on a cover disk - one of Amiga Format's I think. Eee by eck, they don't make 'em like that anymore.

I cannot understand why on his homepage, he does not offer the registered version... there is a zip file with an boot-adf, that has inside Extreme Violence and Tetris PRO ... but EV is the shareware ver.... too bad...
