What happened to: The Assembly Line

Hi,

does anybody know what happened with "The Assembly Line" who coded XENON 2?
And also: are there any news about the Bitmap Brothers? Their site hasn't been updated for years...seems like their efforts to restructure have failed.

I heard the Bitmaps mentioned (in passing) in "When Games Attack" (UK) the other day. It seems they are working on some new game. Unfortunately, I forgot the name of it... sorry about that.

Alright...let's hope they're still alive. :-)

I was just wondering since I get no reaction to my emails. Let's see what they're working on.

Would have been too easy if I could have reached one of them to tell me how the MAP.CMP file of Xenon 2 is build. Guess I have to find this out on my own.

Thanks to tomcat666's gfxRipper and long nights of trying I've been able to rip all the backgrounds and sprites from the game (PC version - but those are identical). Now I'm up to the level maps...no clue so far...

I would like to thank all of you who helped me by giving me hints on tomcat666's ripper!
