The honey-bee cd32 pad is not bad, I agree getting a new usb joypad would be better, but when i have two honey bee pads here I would like to use them for gaming ..

Anyone knows how many buttons PPJOY support ?

Here's another alternative to connect old amiga/c64 joysticks to the PC's..

It's called a PC Competitor Joystick Interface..

http://w5.cs.uni-sb.de/~stahl/com/index_uk.html

If you are unable to order it for some reason, there are schematics for those who know what to do with some components and a soldering iron...

i just ordered the 4 player adapter, but i just noticed that my computer has no parallel port! I guess that most newer ones don't have. So what should i do now? is it possible to use with another adapter? Are there USB/parallel adapters, and would it work?

Yes, there are adapters. You can find them easily if you make a google search. I found once here:

Once I find my 500+, I need a new joystick, as my current one's pretty crap to say the least.

Question 4 player adapter??? Actually 4 player

Does the 4 player adapter from Vesalia let you connect up 4 amiga joysticks to a pc or are they simply the old amiga 4 player adapters that let you add two more joystick ports to the amiga (and now pc)...

I suspect that its only gives two ports but theres not much detail on the vesalia site.

I've seen a schematic for a 5 player parallel port digital adapter after never anyone selling one...

If anyone needs a digital joystick for his pc then contact me because I have a few of them for sale !
They are called 'Python V', have a PC joystick connector, 2 firebuttons and also an autofire switch.
The same joystick also exists with the old Atari connector for use on the real Amiga, C64 or other old homecomputer.

Price is 15,- Euro & shipping.

Same question I have. Of course it must work when Vesalia offers the adapter and there is no other way how to connect it to PC but my question is if all I need is common USB to Pr.Parallel Cable (plus drivers)? I dont know any non-common but I want to clear this out for me.

Not what you ask for, but I had this old 2xJoystick->gameport circuit built and it's been pretty nice. The downside is that gameports aren't very common now, but on the positive side it also works in DOS.

Before that I had for long time a simpler adapter for the parallel port that works with the gamecon.c driver in Linux. Unfortunately I'm not sure if there are drivers for it for other systems, and autofire doesn't work with it.
