Amiga Tosec 0.29????

i'm downloading a 3.6Gb file from torrent, with this name, but it contains a 3.34Gb file with a "7z" extension. Does anyone knows what's this about??

.7z = 7zip compression

Like lha, zip, rar and all the rest. Seems to compress better than most though.

The latest WinRAR supports the 7z format!

7z format offers SUPERIOR compression, but also takes MUCH time...

Nice to know this horrid piece of software (7z) that does have a nice/tehnical compression algorithm can actually be used by a reasonably nice front-end now

IzArc ( http://www.izsoft.dir.bg/izarc.htm ) will also decompress .7z files and heaps of other formats

Too bad you can't create .7zips tho. Guess that'd put .rar into the pasture. Good business decision.

It has all the amiga adf files contained in the Tosec database version 0.29.
In other words, lots and lots of games.
