Beta v0.07 is out

Here is a video of one great goal you can score with Throw In (and you know *YOU* did it, not the CPU)
Goal Video (low quality)

THROW-IN BETA VERSION 0.071

WARNING:
This beta shouldn't be released since it presents a primitive, unstable and poor AI. CPU doesn't even behave on set pieces.A totally new AI is in progress.I just released this beta to let you enjoy the overall gameplay

A digital joystick and an human opponent are recommended!

The game looks astonishingly like Kick Off 2, but better! I wish this would come out for the Nintendo DS or PSP! I didn't really like Kick Off 2002, good to see you're keeping the old graphics style.

Now, is Yoda Soccer as good a tribute to the Sensi games as this is to the Kick Off games?

I also tried something called Total soccer, appearently from 2000 or so. Very very good, reminded me of a certain Gameboy Advance game called Steven Gerrard's Total Soccer. Both Total Soccer games were commercial releases though, not fangames.

Better than KO2, impossible!
I had to switched to 3D but i tried to mantain the same GFX spirit.
Btw i'm not a GFX artist and some animations could be improved

Hehe, I meant graphically of course. After playing it, I must admit I miss the dribbling sound that KO2 had. The game really played well. Still prefer the original, but it's much better than KO2002. IMO, that is.

Also, I would like to see some additions from Goal! thrown in (pun not intended), like the way the players turn around. And I think you got the bicycle kick wrong, I don't think you had to push the button to do it. In both KO2 and Goal! you just pulled the joystick in the opposite direction.

.
Why do you think KO2 is better than Throw In.
I think Throw In is like KO2 but better in most aspects like shooting, heading and dribbling.

this game looks awesome

one of those comp pro usb joysticks (http://www.speedlink.de/) should be just the job for this game! It's even available in crystal blue / silver chrome (like the one i smashed against the wall in a defeat (goal) to my m8 back in amiga glory days)

Only one is the stick you guys are after for kick off mates...
The infamous Greek Stick http://www.cmsco.gr/

(Which by the way has given titles to the KO Gathering)
