Unknown problem with slowdowns

I know it's little senseless post, but maybe somebody had similar problem (and found solution).

I have problems with slowdown of some applications. My Amiga is not working as good as few months before. For example Amiga port of Hexen is almost not playable (too slow), while few months ago game was much faster. The same thing with FroggerNG movie player. Movies whose was normally played, now are too slow. Interesting thing is that normal Frogger works... good. I tried to found any library/program/etc which could be reason of slowdowns... but without result. All libraries was checked in some versions (usually 3 or more) - without result. I even tried to put out PCMCIA netcard (bought few months ago) - without result. ... ...

Maybe somebody has any other propositions what could be wrong?

Difficult to know unless you mention what software you have installed or uninstalled ever since the slowdowns have appeared.

On a PC, extreme overclocking can cause a slowdown.

Problem is that i don;t install any vital system part. I was mainly upgrading libraries. But as i wrote before, i was trying to find which lib is responsible for slowdowns - without success.

BTW: I forgot to mention that also AmiGIft begin to stop working... i don't know why. I try to "snoop" with snoopdos. Log is:

L.p. Nazwa procesu Funkcja Nazwa obiektu Opcje Rez.

this is polish localized, so short vocabulary:

nazwa procesu = process name
funkcja = function
nazwa obiektu = object name
opcje = options
bd = error

As you see, there are only errors in polish locale files...
but program was working before without it! What is going on?

Problem was Solved!

Ok. I found what was wrong. It was fault of... wrong AHI settings. Weird thing is that it messed not only in audio speed performance! Not less weird was that change of the settings doesn't help - i must deleted AHI.prefs file, and set up all from begin.
