First Samurai "WaaaaaaaaaWaauuuuu"

Abit of a long shot.

Does anyone know what the sample is from in the first samurai. It is the waaauuuu sound that plays when the blue face is floating about before you regenerate...??

yeah...i am after what the original music/film? that it samples....

The rest of the games samples are either classical music "hallelujah" or kung fu films?? "my sword". I suspect that they were not copyright cleared and it is probably from a kung fu film....the reason i want it is because i want to sample it myself

"you are a fool anyway" you are correct

After listening, I supposed that the sound has been ripped from a film because we hear synth sound behind the voice. Like you it remind me 'kung fu films sounds', but can't help to find the right source.

My brother watched 'FLASH GORDON' the other day and instantly reaslised that this sample is from Queens song the Kiss

8 seconds in...

There are other versions of this song, harder to find on youtube that are slightly sped-up to the right pitch used in this game.

@robdealer

Say thanks to your brother for finding the sample! I always thought it was from an old kung-fu movie.

8 Years after my first post the quest has been completed. The samurai can now rest as his job is finished
