Question Hammerfist & WinUAE

Hi there, I'm new in this board. I wonder if there's a way to get Hammerfist working in WinUAE 0.8.8 R8. I've tried with all kickstart versions, all configs, and here's the result:

The CLI window appears, the fdd reads until track 43, and then... guru! It works perfectly on my real Amiga 500 1.3 1mb ram... any ideas?

Floppy disk HAMMERFIST++ 100%-Version

cracked and trained by PARANOIMIA

Tested with WinUAE 0.8.8 r8, it throws a few illegal instructions at the console window but other than that it works fine.

No way...

Nothing to do. I really can't figure out what's the prob, even with the cfg included in the zip file, the result is the same as using my copy... dumped from the same Paranoimia release

Thank you anyway.

okie, try this one, apparently this is a fixed copy for UAE, you will need at least 1mb fast ram to play it.

What can I say... you're simply GREAT ... IT WORKS!

As the included txt file says, it seems that the prob was the decrunching of the main program... anyway... THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

Btw, it was the first game developed for a never released 16 bit console... the Konix MultiSystem! I remember the launch price was around 200$, in 1989... BLAH!

Hey, that was the console in the same shape as a steering wheel and could morph into a bike as well!

It was a cool idea, as home steering wheels never existed at that time.

It also had a 3.5" disk drive if I remember correctly....................

HAH! Look at the Yak playing with that thing! Jeff MInter always had a soft spot for obscure, destined-to-fail systems, it seems. That makes him great

yeah, who knows? The "Yak Taxi" in Nepal in Zak McKracken could easily be interpreted as a reminiscence to Jeff's weird work
