hello all..

as I keep struggling with a single problem [known to Toni for ages] i just had a thought..

Toni, could it be that UAE works fine under linux tnx to threading? i realised that it sometimes "freeze" Amithlon for a while but later it resumes and works just fine.. haven't checked with Linux UAE [my card works terribly slow with linux although it's R9600... no direct support for it heh], but according to the docs "it is advised to enable threading to avoid slow io".. also this happens with pegasos which is running 68k code [haven't tested the direct one] so chances are that it is just an emulation bug.. or perhaps i'm wrong?

Yeah, theoretically. In practise I run FB in VGA mode, and after I launch X (handling my card as if it was Radeon 9700) I can no longer flip back to shell (i have tried those tricks with usefb and so on in configs, but when I set this flag on my X no longer start).. and trust me, it is *really* not well supported. anyways it was not my point so forget it
