Post your RETROCRAP here

Welcome to the EAB thread of RETROCRAP.

After having a general clean around the place I found much in the way of crap retro memorabilia. Obscure, useless retro poo is still stored within the fine confines of my humble abode. Scarce and alone, I have neither the heart nor desire to cast away these few survivors of yesteryear but fortunately they don’t take up much space.

Now the good part.

Luckily for you, since I had all the stuff out whilst cleaning, I thought I’d take a few scans in order to share the joyous finds of my labour in this most crap like thread.

Please feel free to post an image of any RETROCRAP you see fit. All rubbish is welcome – the more obscure the better.

Now onto my first entry. Weighing in at less than a gram, with multicolour presentation for absolutely no good reason whatsoever apart from to piss off colour-blind peeps we have a most crap collection of items……..

Welcome to the miscellaneous small fliers that accompanied the A500 Batman pack!

Oh, aren’t they cute? Funny thing is, they’d probably sell on ebay for quite a tidy sum given the loony antics of collectors.

That's the spirit Duke!

Nice bit of useless crap scanned in there, good to see.

As my second entry, I'd like to present the very first uk SNES advertising poster. The thing is huge, so here are some highlights:

Well, I guess no one has much retrocrap to offer or simply can't be arsed to post it.

Oh well, in true woodshed style I can't let that stop the crap flowing.

Talking about woodshed - did that comic strip trial ever end?

Next we have a manual from the golden era of gaming. The scan speaks for itself - these machines were the craze of the early eighties. Well, them as well as toptrumps, subbuteo, games watches and Scalelectrix.

Check out the notice - play gentle, yeah right!

Wow, Freakyweaky (hmmm sounds like a teletubby ) that calculator looks like it should be running on steam!

Well you guys just have too little crap. Come on waste that attachment space.

To liven this dead thread up a bit, here is a quiz question. What is this little gem of retrocrap taken from?

Evil grin Tom browns Schooldays ? or Is it from That Will Haye Film ?

where he has to hide the father of one of his pupils who happens to be a gangster, but your not old enough to have seen either first time round Bloodwych, so you must be a fan of Ealing comedies

The trial was frozen due to my coming to grips with new registered amiga software that behaved slightly differently than the cripples I was using, also for some strange reason some will say the hand of god, the forum I was linking to disapeared { I suspect dizzy got fed up of reading his name in the link title } Now even more bad news for those of you that hated it, I backed up all files to cd & I,ve already registered a new site, so the torture will continue, paused but never stopped your nightmare will go on & on ad infinitum

Another reason actually woodster - this scan is taken off the back of a small retrogaming booklet, but which one? Hard yes, but not as hard as some previous Cody quiz questions. As you said, I'm too young for the actual finer details.

Those trash talk forums sure have a short lifespan
