Unhappy Bad News

Well I have some really bad news

I was backing up the demodvd to disc and my PC locked whilst writing the dvd..

well to cut a long story short, a reboot was needed and now the partition that the demodvd files were is no longer working

Windows simply says it needs formatting.. well if I cannot recover the files, it seems the demodvd proj might be dead!

Can all the contributors (Well Bobredthorp) confirm that they have still got their contribs?

If so and I cannot salvage the files, I'll start again

Ok, let's all try and help bippy, he's been working on this for a long time.

I have a utility called Bad Copy Pro. Never used it, but it's for file recovery and supports Win XP.

How about trying it out?

Unless of course, the project needs to be laid to rest....

Great news. It's always annoying when you lose a HD.

JOY TO THE WORLD!

Nice one squire!

Hey, I have returned from slumber, I’ve been really busy for the past few weeks due to personal stuff, but now I’m ready to fire straight back into the DVD development! I thought it was all over there for a second!, sorry for not letting you know of my absence, that goes to bippy btw
