Why did you go for flat finish and not a glossy one?

That is one bad-ass Amiga tower. I've always preferred the Amiga as a desktop, but I have to admit that thing looks awesome.
Are you tempted to get a spare A1200 and do the black number on it as well? Someone else did that a while back. All it needs now is a red cylon/KIT light menacingly swaying back and forth in one of those spare drive slots. That would make it the best computer tower ever! |

The lights on the front (on the horizontal bit below the display) all light up when drives are working (5 independant LEDs of different colours) so that looks cool. I think a night rider thing may drive me mad though I happen to have a spare A1200 lying around, so I may just do that, but I am not sure if I could be bothered to spray the keys. I would then also need new white stickers, which I dont have. |

Someone sprayed an A1200 black without touching the keyboard or the actual A1200 label. Sounds crazy, but it actually looked ok. The yellow keys (if you have them) don't seem as bad either. |

White lables with black background look good, just like the eject on my drives, but I think the keys may be a little too much...

I used a full tower AT case because it was originaly going to have the A500+ with GVP series2 HD+ side slot unit, couple of SCSD HD's and a SCSI CDROM, with the original case hacked down to just the keyboard. A500+ and GVP unit are longer than a tall midi tower... and I didn't have a right-angle adapter for the side slot
Never actually finished it, and ended up puting the A4000 in there instead. Good move! |
