Question www.commodoreamiga.com

Yes, as some of you are aware I own this domain name. Right now its empty with just this under construction page.

Now, what Im wondering is after having this for almost two years and doing nothing, what should it be used for?

Did the GEM desktop or the TOS have something similar in a bomb or crash message

The reason I ask is that you could create a main title page that has the user click on one button for Amiga and the other for ST. Basically use the logo for each machine as the button then when clicking on the Amiga button it goes to this Guru Meditation error and when clicking on the ST logo it goes to the crash/bomb message for that system

I'd have to disagree. AmigaMOS was a great resource site. It's too bad half of the website didn't work. But when it all worked, it was great.

Plus, I may have stumbled on this site from AmigaMOS. Which was a great thing.

You must be either drunk or talk about a completely different site.

AmigaMOS was well-designed, and even the manuals section alone was worth a visit there.
Your "statement" is a clear attack against its former webmaster, MosMensk, which he doesn't deserve, for in no uncertain terms, you dub him a "rom kiddie" that way.

Oh yeh what a nice attack.

I was not saying anything about MosMensk, I just recall the site having that topten filled with lamers like Godflesh begging in their site so they get voted.

I didn't said "The Amigamos site was shite", I said it was an excuse for lame romkiddies to get their promotion. I think you better start some comprehension classes.

I dont think your point is valid at all. I will always remember what AmigaMos did like bringing newcommers easier into the community. A place like AmigaMos is one of the sites I miss today and I would welcome back anytime.

Maybe a small clause would have explained it?
"...to get public and leechers by appearing in the top-ten there"
How the fuck can I know that you're referring to the top-ten?
Am I Christ and am I able to memorize each and every site in every detail?

I will (honestly), as soon as *you* assure to start some decency classes. But I bet you won't; for playing the role of the "EAB mosquito" is undoubtedly a more exciting thing, isn't it.

i think places like AmigaMos died out because of *places* hosting the tosec collection, before the TOSEC collection came i about, i was always checking sites through AmigaMos, mainly to see if any new release had been uploaded...

before TOSEC i had 5 CDs packed full with Amiga "ROMZ" lol, my collection was created by visiting all these sites.... yeah call me a leecher... but i didn't sell my collection on, if anything i shared out my collection (and to a point still do).... and this was done with a 56k modem!!!

if you ran a site that had lists of Amiga fansites, then that would be pretty cool, but on the admin side, i would check to make sure the sites weren't dead from time to time...

i probably wouldn't run a toplist or whatever, i think we are above this kinda thing nowadays.

with such a good url, i would try to collect as much technical, historical information about the Amiga as well as having links to good fansites.... try to go for a broad selection of topics...
