REQ: Wacko jr. in Wonderland (final version)

Now I wonder if this game was ever released.

There is a preview version "cracked" (?) by RAZOR where I took the screenshots from for the HOL entry, but I'm looking for the final version.

Why am I so sure that it's a preview?

Well, the score does never increase (is always 0000), and level 6 can't be entered because (so my assumption) it wasn't finished yet!

(For the accuracy fetishists: I have a save-state file shortly before the entrance of level 6.)

So, does anyone remember a full release of this platformer?

Badly cracked, broken disk ? HOL is an information database, you should really stop entering unproven data...

btw: Developer is "New Line Software", not "NewLine".

// edit:
Okay, looks like you are right this time. Why didn't you say that the cracktro says "Preview" too ?

Because it's actually secondary?
This time I did it that way so that I did not look at the intro first but just PLAYED it, because this is always the best proof. When I got zilch at the end of level 5 (no occasions to warp me to #6 in any way), I read the intro at a second step and found the 'preview'.

You should really stop worrying about this because if some team member has to complain towards me because of that, he will tell me this in the private team forum. So just don't meddle into this, please. OK?
Fine.

The thing is, at least I can't trust what HOL says any longer... There's already too much unproven data. Maybe you don't care about that but I do! And maybe others too...

I mean, you can't find an ADF of the final version so you just enter License: Unreleased ? What about "Unknown" ? Sorry, I can't understand that...

I think he has every right to complain as he is a HOL user, and data inaccuracy can prove to be negative to him. What he just posted above makes complete sense! Why not an "unknown" tag? Your "99.99999999999999999999999999999999999999999% probability" theory perhaps?

I think this is an important point. I rather have a field filled with a "?" or "Unknown" rather than having the personal assumption of a HOL member in it. This is a database, it should not be based in assumptions, rather in rock-solid, accurate data.

Because there's none available in our editor interface (yet).
Just fill out a requesting application and pass it to RCK: this 'unknown' thing looks like a good solution to me

WK: I would use currently known things as data... as soon as they prove to be wrong, I'll change them. 5 seconds of work. 5 seconds of my time, *not* yours.

I know, but it should be done vice versa. Enter only what's proven to be correct.

That's your fault. Don't enter wrong data and you don't have to waste your time by correcting them.

I didn't say I have problems with that. Read again, then you might get the actual meaning hidden between the lines

You can already add what you want into Licence Area andreas
exactly the same way as for your country problem.

I always find that for the reader to read what you want them to read, it's always best for the writer to write what they want the reader to read.

@andreas:

Please also add "Software" to the developer name. You can't leave it out because it's even part of their logo!

Hey, that's a bit harsh man. If this is the attitude that's being taken, it's no wonder projects like EAGER are being created.

(Andreas, don't take this as a flame, I like you dude!)

Hmm. It's in the long developer name.
That's what it's for. We don't want to incredibly stretch the picture canvases by these long names if it can be avoided at any cost. Therefore we want to keep it short.
If someone of the HOL team disagrees about this, I will put the 'Software' back in. But I usually only put it in in cases of doubt (more than one developer with same name part, e.g. Images ...)

New Line will suffice for the HOL entry. New Line Software is more appropriate as a long developer name. Andreas is following HOL guidelines on this one.

@Andreas
The guys here have a very good point......can't be inserting info. into HOL that is based on a guess or a hunch. The team has discussed this ad nauseum in recent months. We all make mistakes that people here pick up on, so don't take it so personally.
