REQ: Wacko jr. in Wonderland (final version)
Now I wonder if this game was ever released.
There is a preview version "cracked" (?) by RAZOR where I took the screenshots from for the HOL entry, but I'm looking for the final version. Why am I so sure that it's a preview? ![]() Well, the score does never increase (is always 0000), and level 6 can't be entered because (so my assumption) it wasn't finished yet! ![]() (For the accuracy fetishists: I have a save-state file shortly before the entrance of level 6.) So, does anyone remember a full release of this platformer? |

![]() btw: Developer is "New Line Software", not "NewLine". // edit: Okay, looks like you are right this time. Why didn't you say that the cracktro says "Preview" too ? ![]() Last edited by pcGTW_Webmaster; 07 January 2004 at 15:12. |

Because it's actually secondary?
![]() This time I did it that way so that I did not look at the intro first but just PLAYED it, because this is always the best proof. When I got zilch at the end of level 5 (no occasions to warp me to #6 in any way), I read the intro at a second step and found the 'preview'. Quote:

I mean, you can't find an ADF of the final version so you just enter License: Unreleased ? What about "Unknown" ? Sorry, I can't understand that... |

![]() I think this is an important point. I rather have a field filled with a "?" or "Unknown" rather than having the personal assumption of a HOL member in it. This is a database, it should not be based in assumptions, rather in rock-solid, accurate data. |

![]() Just fill out a requesting application and pass it to RCK: this 'unknown' thing looks like a good solution to me WK: I would use currently known things as data... as soon as they prove to be wrong, I'll change them. 5 seconds of work. 5 seconds of my time, *not* yours. |

I didn't say I have problems with that. Read again, then you might get the actual meaning hidden between the lines

I always find that for the reader to read what you want them to read, it's always best for the writer to write what they want the reader to read.

@andreas:
Please also add "Software" to the developer name. You can't leave it out because it's even part of their logo! |

That's what it's for. We don't want to incredibly stretch the picture canvases by these long names if it can be avoided at any cost. Therefore we want to keep it short. If someone of the HOL team disagrees about this, I will put the 'Software' back in. But I usually only put it in in cases of doubt (more than one developer with same name part, e.g. Images ...) |

New Line will suffice for the HOL entry. New Line Software is more appropriate as a long developer name. Andreas is following HOL guidelines on this one.
@Andreas The guys here have a very good point......can't be inserting info. into HOL that is based on a guess or a hunch. The team has discussed this ad nauseum in recent months. We all make mistakes that people here pick up on, so don't take it so personally. |
