Well, there are ST users who use Cubase and I don't think it is nice to use cubase with floppies. If you want my opinion, such a thing with two HDs in is fairly priced. The guy who bought it is certainly not a guy who bought it for games or a retro collector.

I have seen other hd setups go for much less (under $100). You can get an ICD scsi-2 adapter ($99?) for an st that will let you use standard external scsi devices alot larger then the one in the auction plus other supported devices. The price just didnt seem reasonable , plus the auction hasnt finished yet either.

I'm sorry dude.
You gotta be a pitiful idiot to pay 299 bucks for a cruddy, slow ass old ass HD and not even know the size of it....AND it's probably used.

Well, people pay 100-200 quid for Amiga games. Now make your pick. This HD is actually a little gem for being old enough. Has access rate of 35 ms which is not that bad for old hardware. 250 euros (299$) is still much, but it depends if you want something really much. I believe that if I was working with cubase or something, I would have given the money there...
